Native to Japan,

Extremely rear one of a kind

Rhododendron Yakushimanum

“Princess “

we have available in a extremely rear, one of a kind variegated form

mix with a rich lush standard.

The rhododendron bush is an attractive,

blooming specimen in many landscapes

and is fairly low maintenance when planted properly. ...

Unlike many blooming plants,

rhododendron does not like full morning sun in winter

and does best when planted in

dappled shade on the north side of a building.

A dense, compactly branched low grower with showy pinkish white blooms that create a striking contrast against the deep olive green foliage. A low maintenance vigorous grower. A wonderful foundation plant or planted alone as a colorful accent Evergreen.

Yaku Princess is vigorous, sun tolerant,

and a low maintenance rhododendron

that is perfect for foundation plantings.

It requires regular waterings,

particularly in hot, dry weather;

established plants can benefit from fertilization.

These cuttings are 2 years old rooted out in one gallon pots,

and shipped in environmentally friendly burlap sacks.

In 2018 we clipped cutting off the 30 year old mother plant (her flower in the pic)

until now, she is the only one of her kind, variegated, seen as too being the first propagation.

In description:

All Rhododendrons are ornamental, acidic-soil loving broad-leaf evergreens

The most favorable time to prune is when there are no flower buds in the early spring, just before new growth

All shipment are made with the fullest amount of love and care ❤️
